Sydney: India posted a mammoth 622 after batting for almost two days with blistering performances by Cheteshwar Pujara and Rishabh Pant. Rishabh Pant broke a flurry of records in his marvellous innings of 159 runs. Ravindra Jadeja also played a quickfire knock of 81 runs as India declared just after he got out.
The Australian batsmen will now have to face the mighty Indian bowling attack for a tricky period of over 10 overs.
Earlier in the Innings, Mayank Aggarwal score a brilliant 77 and Hanuma Vihari also made a valuable contribution of 42 runs.
