India clinched the series by winning the third straight ODI against New Zealand by 7 wickets. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli scored fluent fifties after Shikhar departed playing a quickfire knock.
New Zealand had set a target of 244 runs in their innings for India and India cruised through the target even after losing Virat and Rohit in a short span. Rayudu and Karthik played patient knocks to take India over the line.
India lead the series by 3-0 now with two games still left in the ODI series.
