The third and final T20I of the Indian tour of Oceania is on the way as Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to field first in the series decider.
"We are looking to bowl first. It's a good pitch. We didn't have a great result the last time we played here. The boys are looking really good. It's a big game - decider. The combination we play with allows us to chase as we bat deep. We have a good record chasing scores in the past. That's what the team prefers to do. It's been a long summer for us from Australia to New Zealand, we are all professionals and we have a job to do. We have made one change, Kuldeep comes in place of Chahal." said the Indian captain.
The Kiwi team also made one change in their line-up resting Lockie Ferguson and playing Tickner who also marks his debut.
"We would have had a bowl. Looks like a pretty good surface. It's important to the job first up. In T20 cricket, to take wickets is really important. We have to assess conditions. Fantastic performance in the first game, not quite there in the second, but we can be there if guys play with freedom. That is very important in T20 cricket. Tickner comes in, he makes his debut, a well deserved opportunity. Lockie is rested. That's the only change for us." said Kane Williamson.
