India-China disengagement talks: 16 hour long meeting on Depsang, Hot Springs

After verification and completion of jointly, both the countries held 10th round of talks on Saturday

India and China has ended their long stalemate at the end of this week as both the sides disengaged from Pangong Tso. Reportedly, both the nations have completed disengagement on both banks of Pangong Tso lake in Eastern Ladakh.

After verification and completion of jointly, both the countries held 10th round of talks on Saturday. These military-level talks lasted for 16 hours, according to a report published in WION. Gogra Heights, Despang Plains and Hot Springs were discussed because these are another friction points between China and India.

India has insisted on faster disengagement from other friction points in Ladakh region. The militaries of both the nations have been standing in a face off at these friction points. Both the nations are trying to avert any adverse situation that could harm the developmental prospects.

Lt Gen PGK Menon led the talks from India side. He is the commander of the Leh-based 14 corps. While the Chinese side was led by Maj Gen Liu Lin. He is the commander of South Xinjiang military district of PLA.
