In a gross violation of human rights, the US immigration force-fed the Indian and Cuban detainees who went on a hunger strike against the poor and inhumane conditions at the processing centre of Texas.
The Information and Customs Enforcement deptt said that 11 El Paso had refused to eat and have been on a hunger strike for two weeks.
The order to force feed the detainees was issued by a federal judge.
Ruby Kaur, the lawyer of two of the detainees also reported the inhumane act.
