Indian Envoy to US heckled by Khalistanis in New York Gurudwara over Pannun's assassination attempt; Watch

Taranjit Singh Sandhu was visiting Hicksville Gurdwara when he was heckled by Pro Khalistani protestors over allegedly killing Nijjar and an assassination attempt of Gurpatwant Pannun.

Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Indian Ambassador to the US, was heckled & stopped by Pro Khalistani protestors at a Gurudwara in New York. Taranjit Singh Sandhu was visiting Hicksville Gurdwara when he was heckled by Pro Khalistanis protestors over allegedly killing Hardeep Singh Nijjar and an assassination attempt of Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, chief of Sikh for Justice (SFJ). Now, Indian Ambassador to the US Taranjit Singh Sandhu's video is doing rounds on social media. 

 

In the viral video, Taranjit Singh Sandhu can be seen entering Hicksville Gurdwara. While entering, a group of pro-Khalistan protestors started shouting and heckling him. One of the protestors can be heard saying, "You are responsible for killing Hardeep Singh Nijjar....you have plotted to kill Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.." In the video, it can be seen that Gurudwara administration trying to stop the protestors from coming in contact with the Indian Envoy. 

 

BJP National Spokesperson RP Singh shared the video on X and wrote, "Khalistanies tried to heckle Indian Ambassador @SandhuTaranjitS with basless Questions for his role in the failed plot to assassinate Gurpatwant, (SFJ) and Khalistan Referendum campaign.

 

Himmat Singh who led the pro Khalistanies at Hicksville Gurdwara in New York also accused ambassador Sandhu for India’s role in the assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was President of Surrey Gurdwara and the coordinator for Canadian Chapter of the Khalistan Referendum."

 

Notably, Sandhu later shared some pictures of his visit on X and wrote, "Privileged to join the local Sangat, including from Afghanistan, at Guru Nanak Darbar of Long Island in celebrating Gurpurab- listened to Kirtan, spoke about Guru Nanak’s everlasting message of togetherness, unity, & equality, partook langar, and sought blessings for all."
