While India-Canada continues to remain at diplomatic loggerheads over the killing of Canadian citizen Hardeep Singh Nijjar (Most Wanted in India), the controversy has started to spread in other countries as well. Recently, India's High Commissioner to the UK, Vikram Doraiswami, was stopped from entering a Gurudwara in Scotland by Khalistan supporters. Vikram Doraiswami, India's Ambassador to the UK, who is currently on an official trip to Glasgow, Scotland, had to go back after multiple radical Sikhs protested against his visit. Now, the Indian Ambassador to UK Scotland video is doing rounds on social media and netizens are fuming over the incident.

As per reports, a group of radical Sikh activists stopped the Indian High Commissioner from entering the gurdwara, claiming that Indian officials are not welcome in any gurdwara in the UK due to recent tensions and targeting of British Sikhs. Vikram Doraiswami was stopped outside the Glasgow Gurudwara on Albert Drive, where he reportedly had a meeting with members of the Gurudwara committee.

The video starts in a langar hall, where a Gurudwara Committee member can be seen inspecting the area and asking if arrangements have been made properly or not. The other man was recording the incident and when he informed that the Sikh man was being recorded, he tried to shut the camera. The video then jumps to outside of the Gurudwara where the group of radical Sikhs were seen chanting slogans, while the Indian Ambassador were seen going back in his car.

A report quoted a Khalistan supporter present at the spot saying, " few people turned up and told him he is not welcome and he left. There was a slight confrontation. I don’t think the gurdwara committee is too happy about what happened. But Indian officials are not welcome in any gurdwara in the UK,” he said adding, "We are fed up with the UK-India collusion. The recent tensions since the Hardeep Singh Nijjar killing have led to British Sikhs being targeted. This is to do with Avtar Singh Khanda and Jagtar Singh Johal too.”

In the video, the man who stopped the Indian High Commissioner can be heard saying, "We heard that the Indian ambassador (sic) from London and Edinburgh were going to be here. We got to the gurdwara and had langar and then we came outside because we heard their car had come up. They got to the car park and saw three Singhs stood there and turned the car around and went. This is exactly how we should greet anyone from the Indian government who comes to the gurdwara in an official capacity under any excuse of doing visa applications, or whatever it might be. We know the games they are playing. We know what has happened in Canada. It is a slap in our faces when the Canadian PM has openly condemned India and expelled Indian diplomats and our people who run our gurdwara committees openly invite them."
