Indian student pursuing Master's degree shot dead at fuel station in Ohio

A 24-year-old Indian student pursuing a Master's degree in the US was shot dead at a fuel station in Ohio, and the police are currently investigating the matter.

In an incident in the United States, a 24-year-old student from Andhra Pradesh, Saiesh Veera, was shot dead at a fuel station in the Columbus division of Ohio on Thursday, April 20. According to reports, Veera was pursuing a Master's degree in the US and was working at the fuel station when the incident took place.

Upon receiving the information, the Columbus Police officers reached the scene and found Veera with gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital by the Columbus Fire service personnel, but he couldn't be saved and was pronounced dead at 1:27 am.

The police are investigating the matter and haven't yet disclosed any details about the motive behind the shooting. Meanwhile, Rohit Yalamanchili, who is overseeing an online fundraiser program to send Veera's body back to India, said that the deceased youth had many aspirations and had come to the US to uplift his family as his father had passed away two years ago.
