"Coming up with a clinically tested, evidence-based medicine was a challenge," said Yoga Guru Ramdev as on Tuesday he launched Patanjali's Coronil tablet, which he claims is a cure for Covid-19. He also talked about various other immunity boosters at an event here during the launch.

Patanjali claims those administered the medicine were fully cured and none died. Ramdev even claimed that 69 percent of them recovered within 3 days. After this Patanjali and the medicine 'Coronil' started trending on social media. People started hailing the Indian company 'Patanjali' for its contribution.

A user wrote, "Watch out! The pharmaceutical bots with their LeLiJi are out to discredit #CORONIL even before it is launched, Pharma is one of the biggest cartels, bigger than Oil or even arms. India is a nightmare to them with low-cost generic drugs like #HCQ. They use Banknote with dollar sign to spread fake news."
