Ayesha Aziz belongs to Kashmir. She is 25 years old,youngest pilot in India. As per reports, being the youngest pilot from conflicttorn Kashmir serves as an inspiration for young girls, women and all the peopleof the country.
Ayesha Aziz became the youngest student pilot at the ageof 15 and she got license in 2011. After getting a license, she underwenttraining the following year to fly MiG-29 jet at Russia.
Graduated from Bombay Flying Club (BFC) in 2017, Azizobtained a commercial license in the year 2017. According to a report publishedin ANI, she said Kashmiri women have grown exceptionally in the field ofeducation.
Aziz was quoted as saying by ANI, "I think Kashmiriwomen are doing very well, especially in education. Every other woman inKashmir is doing her masters or doctorate. People of the valley are doinggreat."
Aziz asserted that she was happy to take on the challengebecause being a pilot demands dynamic skills and odd timings. She added,"I chose this field because I have loved traveling since a very young age,and was very fascinated by flying. One gets to meet so many people. This is whyI wanted to be a pilot. It is quite challenging because this is not normal 9-5desk job."
Aziz added, "There is no fixed pattern and I have tobe constantly ready to face new places, different types of weather and meet newpeople."
Aziz also said carrying 200 people onboard is a greatresponsibility and people entering this field should be strong headed.Expressing gratitude to her parents she said, "I am very lucky I haveparents who have supported me in everything. Without them I would not have beenable to get to where I am today."
Aziz added, "I am constantly looking for growth, ona personal and professional level. She said her father is her greatest rolemodel."
