Indigo flight insect in sandwich poor quality food

A female passenger, Khushboo Gupta recently experienced a distressing incident during her Indigo flight from Delhi to Mumbai (flight no. 6E 6107) on December 29. She was served a veg sandwich during the journey, only to discover a live worm inside her snack. Expressing her disappointment, Gupta took to Instagram to share a video of the worm in her food, criticizing the airline for serving substandard quality food.

In the video, Gupta questioned the quality of food being served by Indigo Airlines, revealing that she noticed the live worm crawling on the bread right after taking the first bite from the sandwich. She informed the flight attendant about the issue, hoping to alert others, but was dismayed by the casual response she received. Not only did the flight attendant offer to replace her sandwich with something else, but also continued serving it to other passengers.

Expressing her severe disappointment with the service, Gupta announced her intention to lodge an official complaint via email. She emphasized the need to prioritize passengers' health and safety, particularly for children and the elderly. Gupta who is also a dietician by profession expressed concern about the potential health risks for other passengers, especially children and the elderly, due to the poor quality of the sandwiches being served.

This incident has raised questions about the airline's food quality and the handling of such situations, prompting a call for greater awareness and consideration for passengers' well-being.
