Indonesia's Anak Krakatoa volcano's activity still growing; Alert level raised

The volcano has been active for a while taking more than 400 lives

Moscow, Dec 27: The alert level for Anak Krakatoa volcano, which is situated in the Sunda Strait between Java and Sumatra,  has been raised by the Indonesian Authorities to the second highest degree amid its growing activity.

According to The Jakarta Post, the authorities also restricted the locals and tourists to go within a radius of 3 miles from the crater of the volcano.

On Saturday, a volcanic eruption triggered a tsunami strucking the Indonesian coast resulting in over 430 people killed and nearly 1,500 injured.
