In a major development, Madhya Pradesh is all set to get another Vande Bharat Express Train. Yes! you heard it right. As per reports, the new Indore-Delhi Vande Bharat Train will have a premium sleeper class. Patrika reported that Indore MP Shankar Lalwani has once again proposed the Indore-Delhi Vande Bharat Sleeper Train.
A proposal was made in the Ratlam Divisional Committee meeting for the new Vande Bharat Sleeper Train. The proposed Vande Bharat Sleeper train will connect MP with two states, UP and Delhi. Many other trains have also been demanded. Along with this, the MP Lalwani strongly demanded a local train from Laxmibai Nagar to Dr. Ambedkar Nagar. He said that this will reduce the traffic in the city.
In the meeting, the MP said that in view of the redevelopment work of Indore Main Station, many trains will run from Dr. Ambedkar Nagar and Laxmibai Nagar stations. In such a situation, during online booking, Laxmibai Nagar and Dr. Ambedkar Nagar should be shown in brackets in Indore so that the public can get convenience.
Demand for Indore-Delhi Sleeper Vande Bharat Express
In the meeting of Ratlam Divisional Committee, demand for one more Vande Bharat Express was made. It was said to run it from Indore to Delhi. A proposal has been placed before the Railways to run a new sleeper Vande Bharat Express from Indore to Delhi.
Demands were also made to stop the Indore-Jodhpur Intercity train at Gautampura, run the Indore-Delhi Express and Indore-Udhampur train three days a week, change the timing of the Indore-Ujjain shuttle, and start work on Indore-Dahod early.
As per reports, Indore MP Shankar Lalwani has also met Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in this regard. In August last year, MP Shankar Lalwani met the Railway Minister and proposed to run a new Vande Bharat train between Indore and Ujjain, along witha Vande Bharat sleeper train for Delhi.
