International Students’ Protest At Canada’s Alpha College Against Forcible Drop

The international students of Alpha College Of Business & Technology, Toronto, Canada, staged a protest at 3:00 PM on May 19 because they have asked to forcefully take an unofficial drop.

According to media reports, around 300 students allege that they already submitted their fees at college for the spring term, but now they have been asked to take an unofficial drop without any prior notice. 

Canada, which is one of the top priorities of the students who want to pursue their graduation and Post graduation courses from abroad. But recently, The Alpha College Of Business & Technology, Toronto, Canada, has faced the wrath of international students. The students are also worried about post-drop enrollment. They alleged that after taking the fees for spring term college is forcing them to take an unofficial drop of about four months. 

A video has also emerged on the internet in which students are explaining their problems to the college authorities. In that video, the students can be seen pleading to the authorities that if they will be given a drop of four months, it will lead to the waste of their 8 months, in total.

“Who is going to pay our bills, who will take our liabilities. Are you guys going to take our liabilities? Are you guys going to take our responsibilities?”, a student asks the college authorities.

Demanding security for the alleged unofficial drop that they were being forced to take, they staged a protest against the Alpha College. 


Over the last 5-10 years, the international student community has complained of too many cases of discrimination they’ve to face in other countries. The community demands only fair treatment for everyone.
