Delhi Capitals finished on a score of 147 runs on a two-paced Kotla pitch after winning the toss and batting first. Shikhar Dhawan was the only batsman to stay on the crease for long playing a slow but important knock of 51 runs at a strike rate of 108.

Rishabh Pant had a good start hitting two fours and a six but got out in a quick succession.

Dwayne Bravo picked up 3 crucial wickets giving 33 runs in his quota of 4 overs.

"It's a bit two-paced, and the change of pace is very important on this wicket. Small totals like this are tricky and the powerplay will be a crucial period for us. They have a good bowling attack, but if we bat well, we will win. It's tough bowling four overs in the end, but I'm ready to bowl wherever the skipper asks me to. Whenever I am called upon to bat bowl or field, I am ready. I love cricket. We would take this total, but it'll be tricky if we lose early wickets. If we bat smart we will win this," said Bravo.

With the pitch behaving differently, it is going to be interesting to see how the Chennai batsmen adapt to the pitch and chase chase the target.
