In a video, it is clearly seen that the couple was walking towards their home and suddenly the man took out a knife and stabbed his wife. The woman was stabbed around 25 times because she decided to work in a hospital instead of being a housewife. People were making the video of the incident but no one steps forward to save the life. Her husband killed her while they were returning back to home from work. This incident took place at 2 in the afternoon and the place was full of public.
The woman was taken to the Sanjay Gandhi Hospital where doctors declared her as brought dead.
Harish Mehta, her husband is an employee in a Marriage Bureau and the victim worked at Safdarjung hospital in Delhi. The couple was shifted from Rajkot in Gujarat to New Delhi.
The accused has been arrested and told the police that the couple got recently married and he was not happy with the job of his wife and later he suspected that his wife was having an extra-marital affair. Although, after a ‘no’ from her husband Neelu continued to work and she left her husband to stay at his parents’ house because of the daily fights and discussion over her job and career.

Then finally Harish decided to “end his pain” by killing his wife. When the accused was arrested by the police he was resting alongside, did not escaped, and said, “She deserves it.”
The woman was in a pool of blood yet nobody came to save her from that wicked person. It is terrifying to imagine what the woman went through in her last moments of pain after releasing that a person is killing her in front of hundreds of people and nobody came forward to save her just because it was their ‘internal matter.’
About 40% of women in the country are still not allowed to choose their career and about 78% of women are still housewives.
