Italians sing Bella Ciao from their balconies to celebrate nation's 75th Liberation Day. Video viral

As the world is crippled with coronavirus pandemic, many nations have missed celebrating their significant occasions amid lockdown.

But, Italians doesn't seem to miss out their special occasion of  '75th Liberation Day.' A video surfaced on the internet which shows that residents gathered in the balconies of their homes and singing Bello Ciao.  Liberation Day in Italy is celebrated to mark the end of Nazi Germany occupation during World War 2.

This short video has been shared by Twitterati Angela on Saturday and it has garnered nearly 3 lakh views. 

Bella Ciao is a resistance anthem of Italians, originally popularised by paddy-field workers of the 19th century. Those workers used to sing the anthem to protect against the grinding labour conditions in the paddy field of North Italy.
