Raghav Chadha posted a message on X showing gratitude to the Supreme Court saying that the SC had protected democracy

Aam Aadmi Party’s Raghav Chadha, who is currently in Britain, broke silence on Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest in the Delhi Excise Policy case following the Supreme Court’s (SC) order to grant Kejriwal interim bail. Raghav Chadha had remained silent on Kejriwal's arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) as he was in UK. However, he has now finally spoken up about the matter when SC granted bail to Kejriwal. He posted a message on X showing gratitude to the Supreme Court, saying that the SC had protected democracy.

 

“The eyes of every countryman are moist with happiness, his brother, his son Arvind Kejriwal is about to come out of jail. This evening the jail locks will be broken, Kejriwal will be released. Heartfelt gratitude to the Honorable Supreme Court for protecting democracy. Long live Arvind Kejriwal!” he said in his post on X.

 

More about Raghav Chadha

Raghav Chadha is currently in the UK for eye surgery. He was reportedly suffering from retinal detachment, which could result in him losing his eyesight. AAP minister Saurabh Bhardwaj was the one to inform about Chadha’s eye disease and that he was undergoing treatment in UK. He had stayed silent following Kejriwal's arrest in March.
