In the latest development, a horrific car accident was reported from Nawanshahr-Phagwara National Highway in Punjab. Allegedly, the tyre of a speeding car exploded after which it collided with the divider. One youth has got injured during the incident and zero casualties were reported.
Reportedly, the accident took place near Kahma village bus stop. It is being alleged that a white-coloured car’s tyre exploded after which it lost control. Post this, the car collided with a divider, flipped in the air and landed on the other side of the highway totally overturned. A video of the same accident has also gone viral. The video shows car hitting the divider and then landing overturned on the other side. The car was badly damaged still, the person inside the vehicle got saved.
After witnessing the accident, people around called the police as well as ambulance. While police initiated investigation to find reason for collision, the driver was immediately taken to hospital. According to eyewitnesses, the youth, who hails from Amritsar, sustained head injuries. He was bleeding from the head, but he was conscious.
While the driver said that accident took place because of a tyre burst, eyewitnesses reveal that he was racing with another car due to which this happened. The eye-witness also recorded a video of the same.
Even the video that has gone viral shows no evidence of tyre burns, the only thing that is visible is car losing control because of speed and then getting hit at the divider. Further information about the accident will be provided by police after carrying out investigation.
