The police have arrested his own police outpost in-charge (ASI), who had embezzled lakhs of recovered stolen rupees in Jalandhar. The owner of the British Olivia School in Ramamandi has also been booked by the police in this case. He has been booked for giving false information about the stolen cash and suppressing facts in his complaint.

Last month, Shamu Putra Ghanai Ram, a resident of UP, went to repair some electrical equipment at British Olivia School. There was a cupboard lying in the room and when Shamu pulled the cupboard for his work, the cupboard sheet came out from behind.

On getting the sheet out, Shamu found 2000 and 500 rupee notes in the cupboard. But Shamu did not steal money that day. The next day he went back to school and brought bundles of notes from there in his tool bag. After that, he went straight to his shop. There he counted the notes, the amount was Rs 35 lakh. Shamu went home with the cash and told his family members that he had found money on the way.

Shamu hid all the money in the old speaker in the house. He told his family not to talk about it anywhere. In order not to doubt the school people, Shamu continued to go to school for a week's work.

After this, he bought gold and silver ornaments, and clothes and took a taxi for twenty thousand, and went to his parents in Uttar Pradesh in the village Rasnagaria. For the convenience of the householders, a new Activa Scooty was also purchased worth Rs. 95 thousand.

But soon, the police got to know everything about him. Manish Kumar, the then in-charge of the police post-Dakoha, went to his village to nab Shamu. There too, a complaint was made in the local police station and after spending 30 lakh rupees in front of them, the remaining items including scooty, jewelry worth more than two lakhs, LCD, inverter and other items were recovered.

Here ASI Manish Kumar showed the arrest of Shamu at his house in Dhilwan (Ramamandi) and also showed the recovery here. After recovering 30 lakh cash, he showed a recovery of cash of only Rs 8 lakh 5 thousand 550. ASI Manish Kumar embezzled the remaining amount. ASI Manish Kumar, instead of taking the remand of the thief, presented him in court and sent him to jail directly so that no one could get to know about the matter.

Even after the theft of 35 lakhs in the British Olivia School, the owner of the school, Vijay Maini, said in his complaint that the theft in the school was 9 lakh 30 thousand rupees. The school owner had written that amount less because there was no account of this money. The money was black money. ASI Manish Kumar was fully aware of this. He took full advantage of this and even intimidated the school owner to file a complaint for the same amount of money that he had accounted for. Otherwise, it will be difficult to account for that too. Now the police have also registered a case against the school owner Vijay Maini for sharing wrong facts.
