An atmosphere of commotion has started in the club regarding the Gymkhana elections. While Returning Officer PCS Amarjeet Singh Bains has released the schedule for the elections to be held on March 10, a total amount of up to Rs 50 lakh has been deposited till the last day for clearing of dues for the voting right. This time, nearly 4,000 members are expected to vote in the elections. This time, the voting ratio is expected to increase due to the youth joining the club as well.

Voters' list will be put on the notice board on Sunday:
According to Writing Officer PCS Amarjit Singh Bains, the list of voters will be finalized by 9 am on Sunday. The list of these final voters will be put on the notice board of the club at 10 o'clock. If any member or candidate has any objection in this list, then he can submit it to them by 20th February.
Final list will be published on 23rd:
Complaints or objections against this list will be removed by the Returning Officer by 5 pm on 23rd February. After this the final list will be released at 6 pm. Despite that, if anyone has any problem in the list, then he/she can file an appeal with the Senior Vice President of the club i.e. DC from 25th to 28th February, hearing of which will be held by the DC till 5 pm on 29th February.
Nominations can be filed from 25th. Candidates contesting club elections will be able to file nominations from 25th February. This process will continue till March 1. Candidates will be able to submit nomination papers in the President's Office Room from 11 am to 3 pm.
Scrutiny will be held on March 2:
Scrutiny of documents of all the candidates will be completed on this day. The list of names of shortlisted candidates will be finalized immediately after scrutiny.
Withdrawal of nominations on March 4:
If candidates wish, they can also withdraw their names. The Returning Officer will give time for withdrawal of nominations till 3 pm on March 4. at 4 pm
The list of those contesting the final elections will be put on the notice board:
All the candidates will give presentation on March 5: Time has been fixed for presentation by the final candidates of both the groups in the main lane area of the club on March 5. After 3 pm, they will present their groups' views before the members. Both groups will be given a chance to present their views.
