In the latest development, residents of New Dashmesh sat on protest to raise voice against the liquor shops built near temples and gurudwaras. The locals demanded closure of all liquor vends and also tried vandalizing them.
Reportedly, the residents on Thursday night sat on a protest against the liquor shops. They even tried to break shutters of various vends. Some were also seen raising slogans against the government.
The residents stated that people near religious places drink alcohol from the vends and then use abusive language. They further added that the people They even misbehave with women and local residents.
