Jalandhar MP Sushil Kumar Rinku and DC Special Sarangal both examined the work done to repair the dam's crack. They stated that the Punjab administration is completely dedicated to protecting ordinary people from floods and that the Government was doing everything for the betterment of the people.
On Thursday, July 13 both MP & DC inspected the repairs made to the Sutlej bank dam at Gatta Mundi Kasu. They asserted that the Punjab Government was doing everything within its power to protect the people from floods and was fully committed to doing so. He stated that on one hand, the relief efforts are moving quickly, and on the other, the task of patching the dam's flaws is also moving quickly.
The MP and DC visited the village's continuing repair projects and reported that the administration is filling any cracks to stop water from seeping into the community. They claimed that thousands of sacks loaded with sand and soil are placed in areas where there is soil erosion or where the dam is weak.

According to them, the administration has made sure that all of the necessities are delivered to the people while also maintaining public safety as a major concern. They stated that the government has also released a relief fund to help the people, and the administration has started giving food and other supplies to the people right away. The MP also expressed gratitude to the non-profit groups working together on this project and asserted that by working as a team, we can solve this issue.
