Shocking video has gone viral from Jalandhar’s PIMS is sparking controversy. Reportedly, a fest was organized in PIMS and the post-celebration videos have raised many questions about the institution.
The video that has gone viral shows alcohol bottles, boxes, etc in the parking premises of the Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences. The video further shows pillars and light posts under which multiple glasses have been kept which indicates that a celebration was going on the premises. This video has put PIMS under the spotlight, various controversies are being surfaced now.
PIMS Resident Director Amit Singh said that hosting a cultural fest in the premises is their yearly affair and there is nothing new in that. He added that PIMS organized a two-day fest, Ecstacy 2022, which was held responsibly. He also stated that speakers at the festival were placed in a way that cause no disturbance to the patients admitted or the people living around.
The director in the video row stated that people from outside also came on their own accord as PIMS is an open premise. PIMS also deployed additional bouncers to restrict any mis happening taking place in the college premises.
