As per the information, Jalandhar City will witness a power cut from 10 am to 2 pm on October 31. Reportedly, Powercom, in order to repair the power lines of the 132-kV grid, has decided to shut down electricity for the above-mentioned time span.
As the power lines to be repaired are operated from PIMS, so the electricity of Defense Colony, BSF Chowk, Hargobind Pura, Atwal House, Dashmesh Nagar, Cantt Road, Police Lines Road, Rajinder Nagar, Alpha Estate, Delta Chamber, Police Line Quarter, Prime Tower, Kapil Hospital Area, Samra Building Area and Prime Tower will be off. Reportedly, some of the surrounding areas might also get affected.
On Friday also, Jalandhar witnessed a power cut from 10 am to 4:30 pm which caused a lot of problems to the locals.
