Deputy Commissioner of Jalandhar District, Dr Himanshu Aggarwal, has recently shared helpline numbers to make the process of filing a complaint related to the electricity issue easier through WhatsApp or just a missed call.
It is to be noted that the shared helpline numbers are different from the complaint center numbers and are shared only for the convenience of the residents and citizens of the city.
How will these new numbers work?
According to Dr. Aggarwal, for the first time, the consumers can register their complaint by calling the toll-free number 1912 and then sending an SMS reading “no supply.”
Apart from this, the customers can also register the complaint via the PSPCL Consumer Service App or by giving a missed call on the toll-free number 1800-180-1512.
While providing another way to log complaints, DC Jalandhar said that residents can also log complaints by sending a message on WhatsApp at 96461-01912.
Not just this, the complaint can also be filed on the dedicated social media platforms of PSPCL - fb.com/pspclpb, twitter.com/PSPCLPb, Instagram.com/PSPCLPb.
Furthermore, he informed that a meeting was hosted by Cabinet Minister Mohinder Bhagat in which he asked the officials of PSPCL to proactively resolve the issue related to the power supply and make sure that no region remains without a power supply for a long time.
The Deputy Commissioner furthermore mentioned that the administration will continue to provide uninterrupted and smooth service to the people of the city and will make sure that all the given instructions are being followed by the officials of PSPCL.
Along with this, he mentioned that the Electricity Department has also been asked to remove or repair the loose, unusable, and damaged wires across the city.
