As per the latest order issued by Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar IAS Jaspreet Singh, all the government and private schools, colleges of the city will remain closed for half day on November 5, 2022.
The order states that due to Nagar Kirtan being taken out in Jalandhar on November 5 for the Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, half-day leave has been declared in all schools and colleges. The authorities of institutions are told to convey the same to everyone.
