Jalandhar, Punjab: A horrifying crime shook Aman Nagar on Tuesday morning as a mother and daughter were brutally murdered in cold blood. The assailants on riding motorbikes, unleashed a hail of bullets, leaving a trail of devastation in their wake.
The morning nightmare unfolds
On that fateful morning, Jagtar Singh, the husband of the deceased, had gone to visit relatives nearby. During his absence, two unknown assailants arrived at his Aman Nagar residence on a motorcycle. They callously fired a barrage of bullets, tragically ending the lives of his wife and daughter. To compound the horror, the attackers set his wife's body on fire.
Repeated pleas fell on deaf wars
Before the attack, the family lodged several complaints with the Patara police station, detailing the threats and harassment they endured. Unfortunately, their request wasn’t answered and no significant actions were taken against the threats. Ultimately, this lack of response culminated in a devastating attack on their home.
The police begin an investigation
As news of the heinous crime spread, the local police, led by SSP Mukhwinder Singh Bhullar, immediately dispatched a team to the crime scene for investigation. Police have begun examining highway CCTV footage and interviewing individuals who may have links to the horrific incident.
FIR has been launched against son-in-law
As per the reports, an FIR has been launched against the son-in-law in regard of having connection with the ongoing investigation into the murder.
