In a major development, a shopkeeper of Jalandhar's Rainak Bazar named Manav Khurana on Tuesday died by suicide. As per the information received, Manav Khurana shot himself and succumbed to his injuries. In Manav Khurana's suicide case, the Police have filed an FIR against seven people. As per the information received, an FIR has been filed based on the statements of the deceased's wife. The police have registered a case against Ricky Chaddha, Gourav Vij, Sahib, Happy, Sarabjit Singh, Rakesh, Kanhaiya. It is said that many of the named people in the FIR are big businessmen of the city, and mobile showroom owners. Furthermore, a Congress leader whose name starts with s is also under suspicion in the Manav Khurana suicide case.
Notably, two theories have come to the fore of Manav Kurana's suicide reason. One reason is that Manav had a rift with his father. The second reason is more series as it is alleged that Manav was being harassed by bookies. Manav had to give money to some bookies, they were also constantly demanding money from him, due to which he shot himself under the pressure. After being injured, he was admitted to the hospital where his condition remained critical. On Tuesday, Manav died while undergoing treatment. At present, the police of Thana-6 have taken the body in its custody and further action will be taken based on the statement of the family members.
