Jamia shooter sent to 14 days judicial custody. Delhi Police requests for bone ossification test

On Thursday in Jamia Nagar after the accused open fired at a group of anti-CAA protesters, another controversy and violence erupted between Jamia students and Delhi Police. The case has been transferred to the Crime Branch on Thursday.

The teenager who open fired at the protesters in Jamia Nagar on Thursday has been sent to preventive custody for 14 days. As per police, the shooter has been arrested as a juvenile on the grounds of hin class 10 mark sheet and aadhar card.

However, Delhi Police has already approached the Juvenile Justice Board for the bone ossification test to verify the age of the accused. If granted,  the age test will be done at RML Hospital in Delhi.
