In the wake of Jammu airport remaining closed, Northern Railway has scheduled a Vande Bharat Special to New Delhi from Udhampur and Jammu tomorrow.
For passenger convenience, this Vande Bharat Special train (02462) will leave Udhampur Station at 15:00 (3 PM) on May 12 with en route stops at Jammu, Kathua, Pathankot Cantt, etc., and ultimately reach New Delhi at 23:45 (11:45 PM). This train will pass through Jammu station at 15:50 hrs tomorrow, and up to this evening, there were nearly 1300 empty seats.
Worthy to note that this special train is apart from the two daily Vande Bharat trains in the morning and evening.
Passengers are hereby asked to book seats in advance since demand will be great due to limited options since the airport is closed.
