Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor pens an emotional note on her 4th death anniversary. In 1996, she married producer Boney Kapoor. The couple had two daughters, Janhvi who is herself an actress, and Khushi. The renowned actress passed away in Dubai in 2018.
Sharing a throwback picture on Instagram, Janhvi wrote, “I’ve still lived more years with you in my life than without. But I hate that another year has been added to a life without you. I hope we make you proud mumma, because that’s the only thing that keeps us going. Love you forever.”
Janhvi’s sister Khushi also shared a throwback picture in her Instagram story adding a heart emoji on it.
Cited as the "First Female Superstar" of Indian cinema, Sridevi appeared in a range of genres from slapstick comedy to epic dramas. On 24 February 2018, she was found dead of accidental drowning in her guest room at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Sridevi was last seen in her home production titled Mom (2017), which marked her 300th film.
