Jawan Review: Veteran film critic calls Shah Rukh Khan's movie 'MEGA-BLOCKBUSTER', Here's what fans said

Termed as the most-awaited movie of the year, Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan was released on Thursday and fans went gaga after witnessing the 'King Khan' return to his villain role. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Jawan features South actress Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone (who has a special appearance in the film), Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and more. Helmed by filmmaker Atlee, Jawan is expected to break all box office records that were created by Pathaan and Gadar 2. With the movie being released in theaters, Jawan Reviews are finally out and film critics, as well as fans, are lauding SRK and also calling his film as 'Movie of the Year'. Talking about Jawan Review, veteran film critic Taran Adarsh took to his official X handle and lavished his praise on the 'Badshah of Bollywood' by calling his latest movie as 'Mega Blockbuster'.

Giving 4.5 stars out of 5, Taran Adarsh stated that Jawan is a mega-blockbuster and will stand stall in Shah Rukh Khan's filmography. Did Shah Rukh Khan take a dig at Sameer Wankhede?

Jawan's Trailer was released and fans were quick to notice a dialogue of Shah Rukh Khan and claimed that it was aimed at none other than NCB's former Mumbai zonal director Sameer Wankhede who arrested his son Aryan Khan on alleged drug charges. In Jawan's trailer, SRK was seen saying, 'Bete ko hanth lagane see pehle baap se toh baat kar leta (you should have talked to the father before touching his son)."

For the unversed, Sameer Wankhede is accused of demanding Rs 25 crore bribe from actor Shah Rukh Khan for not framing his son Aryan Khan following alleged seizure of drugs from a cruise ship in October 2021. A team of CBI is investigating the matter. Sameer Wankhede and others accused in the case have been booked on charges of criminal conspiracy and extortion threats under the Indian Penal Code and provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act pertaining to bribery. SRK's elder son Aryan Khan and several others were arrested in October 2021 for alleged possession, consumption and trafficking of drugs. Later, Aryan Khan was granted bail by the high court after spending three weeks in jail.
