IIT Madras has released the dates for the JEE Advanced examination. The exam is going to be held on May 26, 2024. The window for registrations will open by the 21st of April to 30th of April 2024 for candidates who would like to apply.

As we have already covered, the registrations will open for 21st to 30th of April and the examination will be held on 26th of May. Admit cards for the eligible candidates will be issued in between 17th to 26th of May. Results for the examination will be announced in June, 2024.
What is the Eligibility Criteria for Applying:
Candidates who are 2,50,000 rank in the JEE main exam will be eligible to be able to apply for the JEE Advanced. Also, The candidate should not have been admitted to an IIT before.
What is the Procedure for Application?
The registration process will commence between April 21 to April 30, 2024. Applicants must upload essential documents like birth certificates, class 10th and 12th certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), and a photograph. Fees range from Rs. 1,450 to Rs. 2,900 for Indian nationals and vary for foreign nationals.
Exam Pattern:
The exam consists of two papers, each lasting 3 hours. Questions include multiple-choice, single-choice, and numerical formats. Papers are in English or Hindi. Examinations will be held in the online mode. 3 hours of total duration will be provided for both the papers individually.
The total number of seats in the examination will be 16,232. Applicants who have pursued BTech/BE/BS/BArch/BTech and MTech dual degree/BS, MS dual degree/Integrated MTech/Integrated MSc. be eligible to be a part of this examination.
