Coronavirus has suspended or postponed every kind of educational exams or activities and JEE is among them. As per reports, Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main 2020 Admit Cards for the deferred April examination would be released after May 3. National Testing Agency, NTA has not yet released the new examination dates for the engineering entrance examination. Revised dates for JEE Main 2020 are expected to be announced after May 3 along with the date for the release of the admit cards. Exam and admit card updates would be published on jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Due to the current situation and marking of red, orange and green zones, NTA understands that students might wish to change their examination centres opted for earlier. As such, NTA has extended the correction window. Students can make changes to the examination centres opted for earlier till May 3 or jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Once the national lockdown is lifted and after assessing the situation, NTA would then release the revised examination dates as well as the other dates including admit card and result dates. The admit cards would be available for download from jeemain.nta.nic.in.

In the interim, NTA has warned students to beware of the fake news regarding the examination dates or for downloading admit cards. Recently, NTA issued a notice warning students against the fake news that JEE Main 2020 would be conducted in July 2020. Students and parents are advised to always refer to the official website jeeman.nta.nic.in an nta.ac.in for latest and official updates on the examinations.

NTA was scheduled to release the JEE Main 2020 Admit Cards for April examination on March 10, 2020. This was, however, delayed when the Coronavirus reached to its peak, many state boards and CBSE Boards also got postponed. With the lockdown of schools and postponement of exams March 31 and then till April 14, the dates for JEE Main 2020 April examination were cancelled. As the national lockdown continues and all schools, colleges would continue to remain closed till May 3, the admit cards would also be released once the final dates are announced.
