Former President Pervez Musharraf has come out declaring Jaish-e-Mohammad a terror outfit stating that the Pakistan intelligence even used it to attack India during his government regime. He also added that the terror outfit also tried to assasinate him twice.

This statement surfaced from a social media handle of a Pakistani journalist Nadeem Malik of Hum News to whom Pervez Musharraf spoke in a telephonic interview.

Musharraf said that he had no sympathy with JeM and even Imran Khan shouldn't have that.

Amid the international diplomatic pressure on Pakistan, the Imran Khan led government has seemed to be confused about what stance it should have on the Jaish-e-Mohammad terror outfit after the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi accepting that Masood Azhar is in Pakistan and the Army Chief denying the same that Jaish-e-Mohammad is not in Pakistan or it is being operated from outside of Pakistan.

The journalist also asked him why there had been no action on JeM during his regime to which Musharraf answered that there is a difference in today's and those times. At that time, both India and Pakistan were busy attacking each other planning terror modules on each other.

Earlier, Jaish-e-Mohammad had taken the responsibility for the Pulwama Terror Attack in which 40 CRPF Jawans were martyred after which Indian Air Force carried out Airstrike in PoK where Jaish-e-Mohammad terror camps were being run.
