Punjabi singer Jenny Johal who had been cornering headlines in the trial for justice in the Sidhu Moose Wala Murder case has landed at the center of a controversy after her latest song was blocked by YouTube due to copyright infringement.

However, before pulling down the song was already viewed by over 2.32 Lakh times. Which was released on October 8th and was titled ‘letter to CM.’

The song has caused a furor in Punjab politics as the singer directly calls out at the Punjab CM asking a series of tough questions about the government’s action to serve justice for the slain singer.

A line in her songs says, “It has been four months since he was murdered, where is the justice” for the singer and his family.”

The song has been written by Jenny herself while Prince Saggu has provided Music to this latest song. Jenny through her song raises scathing questions against the government’s move of revoking Sidhu Moose Wala’s security cover which got leaked in the media.

A line in the song lashes out as criticism on the Punjab CM which translates to, “For vote, the CM is playing Garba in Gujarat whereas, back here in Punjab singer’s parents are dying every moment in the memory of their son from within.”

The song further mentions AAP’s record victory in the recently concluded Vidhan Sabha election. Through her song, she says for a change in the state’s political scenario we brought your 92 MLAs to power but people’s dreams have shattered.

Sidhu Moosewala Murder: Gangster Deepak Tinu's constable girlfriend's residential address found; Police also looking for her 2 friends

The song raises quite a legit question against the incumbent Punjabi government of asking “Who leaked the list that details the names of those people whose security cover has been revoked?” why the government has failed to put a gag against them?

Apart from all the mentioning the singer also puts light on the health condition of the singer’s parents and the escape of gangster Deepak Tinu from the Punjab police’s custody.

In a direct question to CM Bhagwant Mann, she mentions in her song “That you promised of making ‘Rangla Punjab’ but Youths like Moose Wala and Sandeep Nangal Ambian have been brutally murdered. Is this the Rangla Punjab that you visioned?”

Rangla Punjab is the vision of the state’s CM who wishes to make Punjab a prosperous state with happiness and a future and to make the state loaded with entire resources so that the youth do not have to leave the state for a better life and opportunity.

The Jenny Johal song which is 4.14 minutes long was released on YouTube on Saturday, October 8 accumulating 97 thousand views in the first 11 hours, and before it was finally pulled down the song cornered a total view of 2,32,463, besides being liked by over 47 thousand people.
