Actress and author Serah Nathan was recently 'slut-shamed' for her 'inappropriate' attire at the Sydney airport. She was wearing a full-length track pant, runners and crop top. She was also called out for sitting on her boyfriend's knees in the airport lounge.

The 33-year-old was at the Sydney airport with her boyfriend, ready to take a flight to her home in Melbourne on November 3, 2019, with Tigerair when the whole thing happened. She took to her Twitter account to share the details of the incident.

She wrote, "'I doubt you'll be able to board your flight dressed like that.' Today I got publicly slut-shamed by two
Jetstar Airways employees, whilst wearing this outfit! Play by play in tweets to follow."

Serah explained that she was at the airport where she found a row of empty seats and sat on her boyfriend's knees facing him while they spoke about mundane nothingness. That is when the two were approached by a woman representative of the Jetstar Airways who said, "Sit on a separate seat because there are children watching."

While the couple was getting over this and wondering what airport law they broke by sharing a seat, the woman representative returned with her team leader. The team leader also said the same things to Serah and her boyfriend. On further questioning by Serah, the woman said, "You're disrespecting the parents here by straddling your boyfriend."

In her tweet, Serah also wrote, "I'm quite partial to flowery language, but I wasn't treating a domestic airport terminal like a strip club." The crew further told Serah, "I doubt you'll be able to board your flight dressed like that but either way you can't sit at this boarding gate, you'll have to sit in the Tiger lounge."

She also said, "I'd like to say, I stood my ground and ensured your two staff members were within their legal rights to speak to me like this, but frankly I was too shocked, too embarrassed, too enraged and too humiliated. I complied with their request."

This is not the first time that this kind of behaviour by the Jetstar crew has come to light.
