Giridih: A major fire broke out today in the adjoining areas of Bhandaridih and Alkapuri, damaging a total of 50 shops and homes. An ATM of the SBI was also damaged in the incident.
After receiving information about the incident a team of the fire brigade reached on the spot and the fire tenders took almost an hour to slosh the flames.
However no loss was caused to any life in the incident.The people have demanded compensation for the loss caused due to the blaze.
