The Jullundur Gymkhana elections are underway with the progressive and achievers’ battling it out neck and neck in the polls.
Following the second round of polls, Amit Kukreja from the Achievers’ group holds a resounding lead over the Progressive groups’ Raju Virk with a margin of nearly 200 votes for the post of Jr. Vice President.
For the post of Hon. Secretary, Sandeep Kuki Behl managed to attain the upper hand over Achievers’ Tarun Sikka, with a margin of nearly 40 votes.
Progressive group’s Anu Matta managed to snag a margin of about 80+ votes over Achievers’ Sumit Sharma for the post of Joint Secretary.
Meanwhile, Saurabh Khullar of the Achievers’ group holds a slight lead with nearly 30+ votes Progressive group’s Gurpreet Singh Kochar.
The results of the poll are eagerly awaiting as the polls are underway, with both the groups fighting neck and neck for the victory.
