The Jullundur Gymkhana elections have been decided after a neck and neck battle between the progressive and achievers in the polls. Amit Kukreja of the Achievers’ group snagged the victory over Raju Virk for the post of Jr. Vice President with a commanding lead of nearly 718 votes, while Sandeep Behl defeated Achievers’ Tarun Sikka with a relatively smaller margin for the post of Hony. Secretary.
Progressive group’s Anu Matta managed to snag the victor over Achievers’ Sumit Sharma for the post of Joint Secretary with a margin of about 320 votes. Meanwhile, Saurabh Khullar of the Achievers’ group managed to defeat Progressive group’s Gurpreet Singh Kochar with a lead of nearly 70 votes.
