Sidhu fails to deliver ₹ 10L compensation, govt job promise made to deceased Congress worker family

Even after 23 days of suicide Sidhu's promise unfulfilled, the accused roaming around freely

On 30th July Ludhiana Congress worker Daljit Singh Jangpur alias Happy Bajwa committed suicide by consuming poison. Before consuming the poison, the victim posted a suicide note in the form of an audio recording addressed to Navjot Singh Sidhu. 

Daljit was reportedly embroiled in a property dispute and had a police case against him. He alleged in the audio that his voice was not being heard and he was fed up with the brutality of a few co-villagers against him. 

On the complaint of the victim’s brother, police booked three co-villagers with whom Daljit had a property dispute for encouraging Happy to commit suicide.

New PPCC Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu along with Cabinet Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu and other Ministers reached the house of the victim. Sidhu promised that he is with the victims family and would provide a support fund of 10 Lakhs and a job to one family member. But even after 23 days of the suicide, the promises made by Navjot Singh Sidhu are still unfulfilled.

2 of the accused Pritam Singh and Mahinder Singh were arrested by the police but the third accused Balwinder Singh is still free. 

One of the accused is now out on Bail.Victim Happy Bajwa's brother Surinder Singh said that his voice is not being heard. He is tired of requesting and pleading to the police and various ministers.
