A spine-chilling video has been doing rounds on social media where a boy named Shahrukh Hussain who has been accused to burn a girl alive can be seen shamelessly smiling with zero regrets on his face as he is being arrested for committing such a heinous crime.

On 23rd August 2022, a girl of class 12th was set ablaze by a man as she refused to marry him. This horrific incident took place in the Dumka district of Jharkhand. One-sided lover of Ankita, Shahrukh Hussain torched her alive by pouring petrol on her as she was asleep on her bed.
A day before she was burnt, Ankita revealed to her father that Shahrukh used to harass her every day, approached her and sought friendship as well. The accused also obtained her phone number from somewhere and used to call her repeatedly. When Ankita refused to talk to him, he even threatened to kill her.
When Ankita woke up the next day, he body was in flames, her family members also tried to extinguish the fire. Later, she was rushed to the hospital by her family and there it was revealed that she has suffered severe burns.
On Tuesday morning, Sharukh went to Ankita’s house, poured petrol on her through the window and fled from the scene.
Based on statements of the family members and Ankita, Sharukh was arrested the same day. Ankita was shifted to RIMS in Ranchi as she was in critical condition.
She fought hard, but due to severe burns, Ankita died around 2:30 AM on Sunday. This incident has sparked an uproar throughout the country as people demand Shahrukh Hussain be hanged for this crime.
The Twitteratis are also seeking Justice for Ankita and are hoping that the judiciary will provide justice to the innocent girl.
