In heart-wrenching news coming from Tamil Nadu, a 22-years-old woman was murdered after being continuously raped for four years by DMK Youth Wing office-bearer Devendran. As per reports, the woman was killed at Nainaar Kuppam near Cheyyur in Chengalpattu district.

Sasikala, a 22-years-old woman working in a private company and a native of Nainaar Kuppam was sexually harassed and later killed by Devendran as she refused to give in to his sexual desires.he DMK man along with his brother Purushotthaman had secretly filmed her and threatened to spread it on social media. Both of them reportedly tortured the woman to satisfy their sexual desires.

Sasikala had refused to budge and warned them of telling her parents. Enraged, the DMK office bearer killed her and made it look like she committed suicide by hanging herself. Sasikala’s brother later filed a police complaint and the police are currently searching for the absconding DMK man Devendran and his brother Purushotthaman.

A user wrote, "What is #JusticeForSasikala? A 22 year old girl was reportedly filmed while bathing by 2 men (brothers). That video was used to blackmail and sexually assault her for 4 years. On 24th June, she was found hanging. Her family suspects murder and demands justice. Suspects missing."

Another user wrote, "Hey So Called Unknown & Shameless Person, Stop politicising the issues & stop finding Religion, Cast, Political Party in every issue. When we will stop this then only Bharat will develop & grow." "My suggestion to government of Tamil Nadu since they can't control rape/assault on women - How about declaring prostitution legal and creating a Ministry of Prostitution, government can get a lot of income you know, almost all politicians, film industry, and presstitutes will," wrote another user.
