The much-awaited movie of the year Kalki 2898 AD was released on June 27, 2024, in theaters, and as expected the movie started to create buzz on social media. Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD features Prabhas in a dual role as Bhairava & Karna, Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwatthama, Kamal Haasan as Supreme Yaskin, the proclaimed god of the Complex, Deepika Padukone as SUM-80 alias Sumathi, a pregnant lab subject and the prophesied mother of Kalki, Disha Patani as Roxie, Rajendra Prasad as Rumi and more in the leading roles. Inspired by Hindu scriptures, Kalki 2898 AD is the first installment in the Kalki Cinematic Universe. Kalki 2898 AD has come into the limelight over its Hollywood-level graphics and it is also being compared to Star Wars and Mad Max.
