Kangana Ranaut's apology came after her interview went viral on social media in which Emergency Actress was heard saying that farmers should request PM Modi to bring back the three repealed farm laws. Following this, Kangana Ranaut was slammed on social media, and the opposition parties like Congress and AAP lambasted the BJP on the three repealed farm laws yet again.
As a result, Kangana shared a video on her Instagram handle and said, "I have to keep in mind that I am not just an artist but also a BJP worker. My opinions should not be personal and should be the party's stand. I regret and take my words back if my comments have disappointed anyone." BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia in which he said, "On the social media platforms, BJP MP Kangana Ranaut's statement on the farm bills that was withdrawn by central govt, is going viral. I want to make it clear that this statement is a personal statement of hers. Kangana Ranaut is not authorised to make such a statement on behalf of BJP and it doesn't depict BJP's view on the farm bills. We disapprove of this statement."
On this, Kangana reacted and wrote, "Absolutely, my views on Farmers Laws are personal and they don’t represent party’s stand on those Bills. Thanks."
