A 21-year girl was shot dead outside the college in Ballabgarh in district Faridabad, Haryana. The incident happened when the girl had come out of college after appearing for an exam. Going by the reports of Nikita was killed because she allegedly rejected the 'friendship' of Taufeeq. He tried to kidnap her but she resisted and therefore he shot her.
The family has claimed the incident as a case of ‘love jihad ’saying that their daughter was forced to convert and marry the accused. Now Kangana Ranaut has responded to the incident. The Bollywood actress hailed Nikita and compared her to Rani Laxmi Bai for fighting and not giving up.
Kangana wrote, "Nikita’s bravery is no less than Rani LaxmiBai or Padmavati, jihadi murder was obsessed with her he kept asking her to come with her if she wanted to live she could have given in to his lust she chose to die instead, Devi Nikita rose for every Hindu woman’s dignity and pride."
