Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on Tuesday objected to a viral video of Alia Bhatt--starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi in which a minor can be seen emulating the actress. In the viral video, the minor can be seen emulating Alia Bhatt and dressed very similar to Alia's character Gangubai. The minor wore a white saree and even sported a big red bindi just like the actress. In the short clip, she can be seen lip-syncing to the dialogues and also acting to smoke a bedi.  As soon as the video went viral, Alia Bhatt also shared the video on her Instagram handle and appreciated the girl for emulating her so properly with a flying kiss emoji.

However, the viral video did not impress the National Award-winning actress Kangana Ranaut and she even asked Union Minister Smriti Irani to look into this matter. Kangana asked, "Should this child imitate a sex worker with a beedi in her mouth and mouth crude and obscene dialogues? (sic)"

Objecting to the viral video, Kangana in her Instagram story wrote, "Government should take action against all the parents who are sexualizing underage children for money to promote biopic of a famous prostitute and pimp who supplied girls to former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and rose to power…request @SMRITIIRANIOFFICIALJI Minister of Women and Child development, please look into it (sic)."

Furthermore, the 'Queen' actress went on to drag India's former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.

Gangubai Kathiawadi

Coming back to Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi, the biopic drama has been adapted from a chapter of Hussain Zaidi's book 'Mafia Queens of Mumbai'. It is the story of Gangubai's rise from a sex worker to an authoritative figure in the red light area. The movie is all set to hit the theaters on February 25.
