Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on Tuesday became the first woman in history to perform Raavan Dahan at Lav Kush Ramleela in New Delhi. Although Kangana Rananut scripted history, she was criticized and trolled after she failed to shoot the traditional arrow ahead of Raavan Dahan. The Manikarnika actress was invited to the Ravan Dahan ceremony, a ritual considered important for Dussehra. Kangana attended the event with her sister Rangoli Chandel by her side. Apart from Kangana, Delhi CM Kejriwal and LG VK Saxena were also present.
However, it was Kangana Ranaut arrow shooting video that went viral on social media but for the wrong reasons. Netizens took a dig at Kangana after she could not shoot the arrow despite being told multiple times. As a result, Kangana Rananut Dussehra video went viral on social media. It is worth mentioning that despite not being able to shoot the arrow, Kangana kept her spirits high. She chanted ‘Jai Shri Ram’ while one of the members of the Lav Kush Ramleela Committee helped her shoot the arrow.
For the ceremony, Kangana donned a traditional red saree and tied her hair up into a neat bun. For the unversed, Kangana was invited to perform the Ravan Dahan as a nod to the Women’s Reservation Bill which was passed last month.
