Kannada Actor Arjun's new Role as Ambulance Driver amid Covid-19 crisis

Arjun Gowda, a Kannada star, has become an ambulance driver to assist people affected by Covid-19. He's even helped people with their last rites.

Arjun Gowda, a Kannada star, has been using his ambulance to support Covid-19 patients in Karnataka. He founded Project Smile Trust with the aim of providing medical assistance to Covid-19 patients. It also aids in the rites of passage for those who have died as a result of the infection. Arjun Gowda's timely assistance was lauded by netizens on social media. 

As the COVID 19 pandemic spreads throughout the world, Kannada actor Arjun Gowda has volunteered to drive ambulances for those who are most affected. The actor, who has appeared in films such as 'Rustum,' 'Aa Drushya,' 'Odeya,' and others, has launched a project called 'Project Smile Trust,' with the goal of providing assistance and emergency services to people who need it for transferring patients from hospitals or performing last rites.

Arjun said, "I've only been on the road for a few days, but I've already assisted about a half-dozen people with final rites. We want to make sure that we support everyone who is in need, regardless of where they are from or what religion they follow. I'm even willing to fly around town for assistance."

During the Covid-19 pandemic, many celebrities have been amplifying SOS requests on social media. Samantha, Priyanka Chopra, Sonu Sood, Alia Bhatt, and SS Rajamouli have been requesting oxygen, ventilators, Remdesivir, hospital beds, and other necessities. Arjun Gowda, a Kannada star, went one step further and became an ambulance driver for patients infected with the novel coronavirus. He has been carrying Covid-19 patients as well as assisting families with last rites for those who have died from the disease.

"Thank you all for your inbox, sorry couldn't respond personally and also brother @lokeshaprakash thank you, brother, @power beard @smilecareforall thank you for the chance, Thz means a lot," the actor wrote on his social media handle about his initiative. I've taken all appropriate precautions and preparation... I'm overwhelmed by your wishes; they mean a great deal to me. Serving and working for the people of KARNATAKA (sic) is a commitment and an honor for me," The actor shared his experience on his social media handle.
